Shandong Zhongtong Bus Drives the Modernization of Public Transit in Uzbekistan

      Recently, during his inspection in Urgench, the capital of Khorezm Province, the President of Uzbekistan focused on investigating the public transportation situation of the people. As the capital of Khorezm Province, Urgench has continued to promote the modernization of public transportation in recent years.

      In 2024, Urgench will purchase 80 Zhongtong N series city buses at one time. At present, this batch of vehicles has been put into operation in batches in the local area.
 

      This batch of Zhongtong N series buses basically covers the main routes of Urgench, and can serve up to 50,000 passengers per day. With the commissioning of the vehicles, the departure interval of relevant bus routes in Urgench has been shortened to 5-12 minutes, and the efficiency of public transportation has increased by 38%.

      It is reported that all the Zhongtong N-series city buses meet the Euro V environmental protection standard, greatly increasing the pressure on local environmental protection governance. At the same time, the vehicles adopt a low-entry design, which greatly facilitates the travel of children, the elderly and the disabled. In terms of driving experience, all vehicles are automatic, equipped with Wi-Fi and a video surveillance system, which further improves driving comfort and safety. Today, Zhongtong Bus has footprints in Andiyan Province, Bukhara Province, Fergana Province, Samarkand Province, Namangan Province, Jizzakh Province and other places in Uzbekistan, providing people with comfortable, reliable, energy-saving and environmentally friendly travel services, and helping to upgrade and develop the local public transportation system.
