Higer Bus Unveils Its First Spare Parts Center in Europe!
Recently, Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg Hua Ning attended the inauguration ceremony of the Higer Bus European Spare Parts Center and Luxembourg Maintenance Station. The event was also attended by Luxembourg's Minister of Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism Lex Delles, President of the Chamber of Commerce Luc Frieden, Director of the Department of Automotive and Smart Mobility Sasha Schiltz, and representatives from Demy Schandeler, Higer Bus, and other Chinese and Luxembourgish enterprises.
At the event, Minister Delles and others test rode a Higer pure electric bus and praised the company’s decision to establish its first European spare parts center and a maintenance station in Luxembourg—known as the “crossroads of Europe.” According to reports, the center will be equipped with a full range of coach spare parts, significantly shortening delivery times and improving service for European clients. Delles noted that Chinese electric buses are of high quality and advanced technology, and welcomed more Chinese enterprises to participate in the electrification of Luxembourg’s bus network, further deepening pragmatic and friendly China-Luxembourg cooperation.
In his speech, Ambassador Hua Ning emphasized that China has become a global leader in the electric vehicle industry. The export of Chinese electric buses is not just about providing advanced vehicles—it also involves offering full lifecycle support to enhance operation security and customer satisfaction in Luxembourg and across Europe. He expressed hope that Chinese electric bus companies would work closely with local partners to strengthen supply chain resilience and jointly contribute to the development of green transportation and the fight against climate change.
At the end of 2024, Luxembourg’s Minister of Economy Lex Delles led a government delegation to visit Higer Bus and witnessed the batch shipment of pure electric buses to Luxembourg. The delivered models belong to the Azure series, Higer’s response to future urban transport demands, incorporating cutting-edge new energy technologies and intelligent manufacturing. These buses offer advanced features, high operational efficiency, and user-friendly designs, aligning with Europe’s low-carbon goals while addressing the practical needs of expanding public transport coverage and electrification in old urban areas. The Azure series is fully certified for the European market and offers multiple vehicle lengths, customizable seating layouts, and a full low-floor electric platform. It is suitable for urban trunk and feeder lines, suburban services, and point-to-point shuttle operations. In practice, operators can flexibly adjust vehicle configurations based on passenger flow, maximizing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Currently, seven Higer buses are already in operation in Luxembourg, mainly serving intercity routes. Their stable performance and quiet, comfortable ride experience have been well received by local passengers.
