Recently, BYD announced the delivery of the first batch of 10 pure electric double decker buses to Chile, marking a new chapter in electrified travel in Chile!

Zhengzhou Globaliz learned from BYD official account that BYD B12C01 double decker bus can accommodate 69 seats, 6 priority seats, an extra large seat and a wheelchair area, with a total capacity of 97 passengers. The vehicle is equipped with 30 USB ports, high-speed WiFi, and air conditioning; It only takes 2 hours to fully charge from 0%, with a range of up to 280 kilometers.

At present, BYD's pure electric bus business covers multiple markets in Latin America, including Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, and Uruguay. On a global scale, BYD's electric buses have a footprint in over 70 countries and over 400 cities.

It is worth mentioning that BYD recently showcased an electric bus K8M at the 47th Washington State Transportation Association (WSTA) Public Transport Supplier Expo. This is one of the 11 BYD buses that recently joined the Washington State Link Transit fleet and can accommodate up to 32 passengers, with a range of 196 miles (approximately 315.43 kilometers).
